The head coach of Baltika Kaliningrad, Sergei Ignashevich, will again become a CSKA player for one evening. The ex-CSKA defender will take part in the retro match against the capital’s Lokomotiv. This was reported in Russian Football Union on Thursday, November 9th.
Players from the 2002 teams will take to the field at the stadium in Cherkizovo: Dmitry Loskov, Vadim Evseev, Rolan Gusev, Manuel Fernandes, Marco Gonzalez, Dmitry Sychev, Alexey Berezutsy, Rodolfo and Elver Rakhimich. The teams will be led by Valery Gazzaev and Yuri Semin.
“The confrontation between Lokomotiv and CSKA is more than 20 years of matches of the highest intensity, in which the fate of the main awards of Russian football was decided. The finals of the Russian Cup and Super Cup, the “golden match” of the 2002 season and many exciting derbies.
