Serbian star Aleksandar Mitrovic, the prominent striker of Al Hilal Club, is experiencing his first experience with the atmosphere of the month of Ramadan, following moving to the team in the recent summer transfer period.
Mitrovic joined Al Hilal from the English club Fulham, in exchange for a deal estimated at 52.6 million euros, and signed a contract extending until the end of the 2025-2026 season.
Speaking regarding the Ramadan atmosphere, Mitrovic expressed in a video clip published by sports journalist Hamad Al-Suwaihi, his great admiration for the experience, saying: “It is a very unique and different experience. I liked it so much, that I promised one of my friends that I would try fasting for one day myself.”
Mitrovic continued: “I think there are regarding 10 or 11 days left until the end of Ramadan, and it is truly a special experience.”
He continued: “It is very wonderful to see people respecting this culture and religion like this, it is amazing.”
