Sequential normalization of train operation adjusted by KORAIL Typhoon Hinnamno

The Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) announced on the same day that the train service, which had been suspended or adjusted as Typhoon Hinnamno, the 11th typhoon, passed through the dangerous area, resumed from 9 am on the 6th and will normalize sequentially.

Before resumption of operation, KORAIL completed safety inspections by inspecting facilities on operating routes and introducing test trains. Some of the stations and plazas were flooded with urgent repair work.

Previously, KORAIL preemptively suspended and adjusted some train operations to ensure safe train operation on routes that are expected to be damaged. A KORAIL official said, “The typhoon has passed through the Korean Peninsula, but heavy rain and strong winds are predicted until today.
