The crew of a fifth plane is convinced that it was on the list of devices implicated by the terrorists in the attack of September 11, 2001. The strange actions of certain passengers lead them to believe that they might have sought to hijack the ‘device.
Nearly 22 years following the tragedy, the gray areas persist. On September 11, 2001, a terrorist attack targeting in particular the twin towers in New York and the Pentagon killed 2,977 people. The event will profoundly mark the history of the country and shake up its policy.
Years later, questions persist as to the course of this terrible day, punctuated by several tragedies orchestrated by Al-Qaeda.
The hypothesis of a fifth plane
On the eve of the broadcast on Fox News of a new documentary on September 11, 2001 dubbed “TMZ Investigates 9/11: The Fifth Plane”, testimonies of travelers present in a fifth plane have been broadcast and suggest that this device might have been involved in the attack.
7 out of 7 report the testimonies of passengers who point to the presence of 4 suspicious travelers and obviously stressed. “We don’t want to eat, but take off as quickly as possible,” they reportedly said. A second plane crashes into the twin towers on takeoff, the plane will not leave the tarmac.
If the passengers are disembarked and the canceled flight, 2 men in uniform would have crossed the runway in the direction of the aircraft, a little later, security agents would have found the luggage hold open. In the hypothesis of the witnesses, someone would have tried to make disappear from the evidence.

Concealed cutters
The airplane pilot, Tom Mannello, gives some details on the circumstances of this false start. Two box cutters were notably hidden in first class. For him, the author of this aborted attack was on the wrong plane, different from a number of another flight targeted that day.
A cleaner or someone responsible for bringing food on board has easy access. It’s entirely possible that such a person made a mistake and put the knives on the wrong plane. I therefore consider it likely that the terrorists also wanted to use our plane as a weapon of mass destruction
For a stewardess working on this flight, the United 23 should have been the fifth plane. There FBI interviewed personnel and escorted crew members in vans. They were asked to recognize the suspects on board the aircraft.
Despite these testimonies, it is only a hypothesis. For his part, the official 9/11 commission report never mentioned the United 23 as one of the targeted devices.
