Sephora will open its second London store in the fourth quarter of 2023. It is in the northeast of the city, in the heart of the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre, which already hosts the Kiko Milano and Boots beauty brands, that the LVMH group’s selective perfumery brand will set up shop.

The announcement of this second opening comes as, on March 8, Sephora inaugurated its first store in the United Kingdom, a 500 square meter store also located in the heart of a shopping center, that of Westfield London.
Less than a week following its opening, this first store was placed in the world’s top four of the best global stores of the brand, indicated on March 15 to FashionNetwork.com Sylvie Moreau, President Europe and Middle East of the perfumery brand.
Before trying out the physical store, Sephora first tested the British market via digital. Indeed, in October 2022, Feelunique.com, one of the main distributors of online beauty products in the United Kingdom, acquired in September 2021 by Sephora, had become Sephora.co.uk.
The Sephora brand, which has 2,700 stores worldwide (including around 300 in France), left the United Kingdom in 2005 in the face of competition from more locally anchored brands. Its gradual return therefore seems to be a winner for the moment.
