With Seoul under a heat wave warning for the first time ever in September, the late summer heat is expected to reach its peak as daytime temperatures soar to 35 degrees Celsius.

Yes, you should take an umbrella with you on your way to work this morning.
Rain is expected in Yeongdong and Jeju Island, and showers will pass through other regions.
In particular, very heavy showers of up to 50mm per hour are expected, mainly in the Chungcheong and southern regions, so caution is advised.
Tropical nights appeared in the western region, southern coast, and Jeju Island last night.
Currently, Cheongju is at 26.5 degrees, Gwangju is at 26.9 degrees, and Jeju Island is at 27.7 degrees.
With heat wave warnings continuing across the country, many places will experience temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius during the day.

Additionally, other parts of the country will see heavy rain showers of 5 to 60 mm.
Tomorrow, rain will fall across the country, easing the severe heat wave.
However, the weather is expected to continue to be warmer than usual during the Chuseok holidays.
Meanwhile, at around 9 p.m. last night, Typhoon No. 13, Bubinga, formed in the sea southwest of Guam.
The typhoon is expected to pass through this weekend and move north to near Shanghai, China, early next week.
Even if the typhoon heads toward China, there is a possibility that the large amount of water vapor left behind by the typhoon will affect the Korean Peninsula.
As the Chuseok holiday approaches, typhoon paths are very fluid, so please check the latest weather forecast.
