Democratic Party lawmaker Seol-Hoon Seol, who is classified as a representative Lee Nak-yeon, drew a line at some speculation, saying that the return of former CEO Lee Nak-yeon due to the father-in-law is far from a political move.
Rep. Seol met with reporters at the entrance of Samsung Seoul Hospital on the followingnoon of the 8th and denied with “no (no)” to the question, “Is this return to Korea related to political activities?”
Rep. Seol said, “I don’t know exactly, but we will meet naturally. After leaving the country on the 10th, there will be some time (until departure), so we will be able to meet naturally.”
In response to the question of whether some have a view that this return to Korea will strengthen the unity of pro-Lee Nak-affiliated lawmakers, Congressman Seol said, “It may be, but it may not be.”
“I have to wait and see that in the future, but I don’t think it’s something to be in a hurry. I have a lot of time left and a lot of things to do, so I don’t recommend doing anything in a hurry.”
