From tomorrow, President Yoon Seok-yeol will be commuting from his home in Seocho-dong to his office in Yongsan, for regarding a month.
There are also concerns regarding congestion due to traffic control.
It seems that President Yoon’s commuting time and route will change every day in order to relieve security and inconvenience to citizens.

A car with President Yoon passed through the intersection with the police car and the car of the bodyguard.
A police officer controls the signal at every street corner, and other vehicles coming and going are waiting.
When President Yoon passed the Mapo Bridge to move to Yongsan’s office following the inauguration ceremony, regarding 20 vehicles used all directions in one direction.
President Yoon decided to go from his house in Seocho-dong to Yongsan’s office for a month.
There are four main routes expected.
Crossing the Hangang Bridge, Dongjak Bridge, Banpo Bridge, and Hannam Bridge, it is a method of moving 7 to 8 km, and it takes regarding 10 minutes under vehicle control.

It is the intersection of Samho Garden that the President must pass no matter which route he takes.
Since the express terminal is right next door, it is a place where there is usually a lot of traffic.
There are an average of 350 express buses that go to and from this place from 7am to 9am, which is the rush hour.

“It’s still hard to go out to Banpo (interchange) even now, but wouldn’t it be even more difficult if the president commuted to work once more…”
Nearby citizens who said the president suffered traffic control when he went to work at the office of the Transition Committee in Tongui-dong are also concerned.

“We always meet here (Samho Garden Intersection) around 9:30. Then everything is under control and everything is blocked in the front and back…”
However, there is also a reaction that there will be no major inconvenience as long as the president avoids rush hour.

“Even in the morning, when I go to the inauguration ceremony, there is nothing particularly disturbing.
The police conducted a simulation three times to confirm that there would be no excessive inconvenience, and said that they would minimize inconvenience to citizens in consideration of traffic signals.
