The victim ran away from home and reported that her father had been abusing her since she was nine years old.
A 42-year-old subject was sentenced to 23 years and four months in prison for sexually abusing his 16-year-old daughter.
Such a situation occurred on November 14, 2019 inside a house located in the San Josecito sector, Torbes municipality, Táchira state. The man was identified as LE Ramírez Rodríguez (42)
According to the investigation, the victim went to the headquarters of the Scientific, Personal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc) to report that her father had abused her since she was nine years old. At that time, she takes advantage of any period of her mother’s absence to touch her private parts.
Later, when she was 14 years old, her father continued the abuse and managed to penetrate her, in addition to having her under threat to ensure that she would remain silent.
In relation to the sexual abuse of November 14, 2019, the young woman refused, offered resistance and was beaten by her father. After running away from home, she decided to report the facts to the Cicpc.
After the complaint, and the completion of the respective forensic tests, an arrest warrant was issued against Ramírez Rodríguez.
When verifying his data in the Police Information System, it was found that he was also requested by the 7th Court of Control of that Andean entity for the alleged commission of the crime of robbery.
In the trial, the 16th Prosecutor’s Office of Táchira ratified the accusation against Ramírez Rodríguez for the commission of sexual abuse of a teenager with continued penetration.
Once the evidence had been evacuated by the prosecutorial representation, the 1st Court on Violence Against Women issued the aforementioned sentence against the man and ordered his imprisonment in the Western Penitentiary Center; located in Santa Ana.
