On October 3, Clic Les Sorinières-Rezé is organizing a forum to raise awareness among over-60s about their sensory health. On the program: conference, information stands, visual and hearing screenings.
More than 80% of French people over 60 suffer from visual impairments, 60% from hearing problems. So that this does not become a hindrance in daily life, it is important to take charge of your health. This is why Clic Les Sorinières-Rezé, in partnership with the health education and prevention association in the territories (Asept), is organizing a forum around sensory health on Thursday October 3. Conference, information stands, advice, discovery of technical aids and free screenings (by appointment) will be offered to over 60s.
The detailed program
- 2 p.m.: reception;
- 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m.: conference “Hearing well, seeing well for aging well” led by Adeline Zeller and Nadège Guilloteau, professionals specializing in sensory deficiencies;
- 2 p.m.-4:45 p.m.: hearing and vision screenings by appointment (tel. 02 40 13 00 05);
- 2 p.m.-5 p.m.: stands and workshops (access to rights and care, adaptation of housing, technical aids for low vision and hearing impairment, digital advice, specialized associations, adapted physical activities).
