We’re talking Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, and Northern Illinois. It’s practically a road trip movie waiting to happen!

A Quick Run Through the Job Description

Now, first things first: what does this role entail? As the DM, you’re not just leading a team; you’re practically the captain of a ship sailing through the uncharted waters of pharma sales. Your mission, should you choose to accept it (and let’s face it, you probably will), is to mentor and inspire the Rare Disease Account Executives (RDAEs) like a modern-day healthcare Yoda. You’ll develop a district vision while managing operations like a seasoned QB, all to hit those magical sales quotas.

Responsibilities: What You’ll Be Doing

Here’s where you really get to flex those managerial muscles:

  • Team Leadership: You’ll inspire your team to reach for the stars while also making sure that they’re not confusing the North Star with a street lamp on the way to their goals.
  • Strategic Business Planning: You’ll be shaping and implementing business strategies that could make even the most intricate chess games look like tic-tac-toe. Yes, folks, it’s all about thinking several steps ahead!
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You’ll collaborate with internal partners like Brand Marketing. It’s like planning a wedding without getting stuck with Uncle Bob’s karaoke rendition of “I Will Survive.” Fingers crossed, right?

What Makes You a Match?

Before you cartwheel into the application process, consider this: Johnson & Johnson is interested in candidates with a solid pharmaceutical background. So, if you’ve spent a minimum of five years managing sales for FDA-approved products, you might just be the unicorn they’re searching for. And yes, a Bachelor’s degree is a must…but no one ever said it had to be in magic!

What’s in it for You?

Now let’s talk perks. This position comes with a company car through the FLEET program! That’s right: not only do you get to drive around making major healthcare decisions, but you also get to do it behind the wheel of something that doesn’t require a 10-step manual. Who doesn’t want that?

The Johnson & Johnson Way

Now, if we can take a moment to reflect on the finer philosophies at play here… Johnson & Johnson treasures diversity, equity, and inclusion. They’re not just throwing around buzzwords like confetti at a parade. Their commitment to creating a diverse workforce is built into their very foundation. So, if you are part of a community that’s been historically underrepresented, know this: you are welcome here. And if that doesn’t make you feel warm and fuzzy, we don’t know what will!
