Senegal wins the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in its history

Senegal won the African Nations Cup for the first time in its history, following beating Egypt on penalties, by four goals to two, during the meeting that was held on Sunday evening in Cameroon.

For the first time in its history, Senegal won the African Cup of Nations following beating Egypt on penalties by four goals for two, during the meeting that was held on Sunday evening in Cameroon.

The original time and overtime ended in a goalless draw, to resort to penalty kicks, which were decided by Senegal.

Thousands of Senegal fans celebrated in the fan zone at the African Renaissance Monument in Dakar following Senegal’s victory over Egypt.
