Every year, several thousand French-speaking Africans cross the ocean to study in Quebec, for the duration of a university course or professional training. Diploma in hand, some stay to answer to needs of the local labor market, the others return to their country of origin in order to make it benefit from the skills they have acquired. In both cases, the links forged between La Belle Province and the French-speaking part of the continent are only strengthened. Meeting with three of these Africans who made the grand transatlantic leap, for a stay of several months or a few years that changed their lives.
