The contract awarded to the French company covers services for 400 people residing on the platforms of the Grand Tortue Ahmeyim offshore project
CISa French company specializing in catering, hotel and maintenance assistance services on industrial sites, won two contracts with energy groups involved in the development of the gas project Large Ahmeyim Turtle (GTA), on the maritime border of Mauritania and Senegal.
“CIS provides catering, hotel and facility management services for 400 people residing on the platforms”, specified the remote site management company in the related press release published on May 31. The contract amount and the names of the clients were not disclosed.
The GTA project is led by the British group BP and the American Kosmos Energyin partnership with the national oil companies of Mauritania (SMHPM) and Senegal (Petrosen). The start of production is planned for 2022-2023.
The first phase of the project aims to produce approximately 2.5 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year for export and 70 million cubic feet of natural gas per day (capable of supplying 500 MW of power plants) for the domestic markets of Mauritania and Senegal.
In the May 31 announcement, CIS also welcomed the renewal of a contract with a “very important company” which develops activities on land (onshore) et en mer (offshore) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
