We believe that you are a responsible scooter rider and always wear a helmet and follow the traffic rules when riding. So we are waiting for a photo of a responsible scooterist! Of course, you will have to ask a friend to take the picture, don’t do it under any circumstances selfio while driving – it’s not safe!

With the “Ridek šalmingai” photo contest, we aim to draw the public’s attention to the importance of obeying road traffic rules and to promote the safe behavior of drivers when traveling by electric scooter.

The photo contest is organized by the Lithuanian Transport Safety Administration and the publicity partner – a news portal 15min.

RULES

Send a photo with a short description – e.g. I’m Jonas, I go to work in Vilnius on the Fabijoniškių cycle path. I always wear a helmet to protect my head!

Send the photo and its description (up to a few sentences) to the address [e-mail]

Do not forget to indicate your name, surname and e-mail address. postal address. You can send 1 photo per person.

The responsibility for the authenticity of the photos, the consent of the visible persons to be photographed and published publicly, belongs to the contestant himself. The photo cannot contradict generally accepted moral and ethical norms.

Photos will be published at least once a week on the news portal 15min in the “Roll helmet” section, in the photo gallery of the contest, on the subpage – HERE.

Send photos by September 15, 2024 at midnight.

Determination of winners:

Of all the photos submitted to the contest, 15min readers will vote for 5 (five) of the best photos, i.e. photos that most creatively and accurately reveal how to follow the principles of safe traffic while traveling on scooters.

in 2024 September 16 in the rubric “Roll With A Helmet” we will announce the voting of the contest, which will last until September 22. inclusive.

Prizes:

The authors of the photos most liked by the readers will receive prizes established by the organizers:

First place (with the most votes) – electric scooter Xiaomi Mi Pro2a helmet decorated with the “Roll helmet” visual and 15min subscription for a year;

Manufacturer/ Electric scooter Xiaomi Mi Pro2

Remaining 4 (four) places are rewarded with helmets from the “Ridek šalmingai” campaign and 15min annually subscriptions.

Prizes

The winners of the competition prizes will be announced on September 23, 2024. in the section “Roll with a helmet” and they will be notified personally at the specified e-mail address. by post

The winners will have to collect the prizes in Vilnius or Kaunas no later than October 16, 2024.

Remember:

• The author submitting a photo to the competition gives the organizers the right to freely dispose of the material at their discretion, e.g. to illustrate an article or the like. The photo becomes the property of the organizers.
• If there are suspicions that the published photo is found on the Internet or the authorship belongs to another person, it will be removed from the competition without warning.
• Contestants’ contact information will be used for contest purposes only.
• The organizers of the competition reserve the right to change the rules of the competition, informing visitors about this in the 15min section of the news portal “Ridek šalmingai”.
• UAB “15min” and LTSA employees and their family members cannot participate in the competition.
