Senatur launches activities guide and tourist packages for the patriotic holiday of the Battle of Boquerón

Asunción, IP Agency.- In commemoration of the anniversary of the Battle of Boquerón, the National Secretariat of Tourism (Senatur) has launched a complete activity guide y tourist packages to enjoy during the last long weekend of 2024. This holiday, which celebrates one of the most important milestones of the Chaco War, seeks, in addition to remembering national history, to promote tourism, culture and recreation throughout the country. country.

The Battle of Boquerón, fought in 1932, is remembered every September 29. This year, the holiday that falls on Sunday is moved to Monday the 30th, thus allowing citizens to enjoy three consecutive days to disconnect and explore the various activities proposed by Senatur.

The objective of the guide is to offer a wide range of tourist and cultural options, both in the capital and in the interior of the country, with activities for all ages and tastes. Notable events include:

1. Tourist walk through the historic center of Asunción

Organized by the Walking Club, this activity invites participants to tour the most emblematic points of the old town of Asunción while enjoying sports and tourism. 2. Tourism and Culture Expo – Second Edition
