The senator of the Democratic Center, María Fernanda Cabal, maintains her position regarding the death of Piedad Córdoba, which occurred last Saturday, January 20 in the city of Medellín. The congresswoman pointed out that Córdoba was not an ambassador of peace and that she was simply a person who did what she wanted with the Colombian Justice.
Regarding the reasons for his death, Cabal believes that there are still many doubts regarding the real causes and that there must be clarity regarding what happened.
“I am full of doubts, Piedad Córdoba faced many investigations and for years so I do not believe that this is a cause of stress. I don’t know, suddenly I’m calling her something that’s not her, but she didn’t get stressed regarding these kinds of things,” Cabal said.
Cabal, like Ingrid Betancourt, believes that it cannot be ruled out that something strange has happened because she knew of many situations that would put many people at risk.
“I would like to know what Forensic Medicine is going to say because the extradition of your brother may have caused many worried enemies. It is not known if Álvaro Córdoba was collaborating with the United States, the release of Alex Saab is strange and surely she had many enemies.”
