“We have to let it go,” he added. “We don’t need to push them in any direction or try to influence them.”

Earlier, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland held a press conference the day before and announced the appointment of Robert Hur as a special counsel to investigate the case. Following President Biden’s personal office in the past, confidential documents were found at his home in Wilmington, Delaware.

The first classified documents of President Biden’s vice president were found in the former office of President Biden in Washington in early November of last year and were immediately handed over to the National Archives.

Afterwards, additional confidential documents from the past of President Biden were discovered. The US Department of Justice quickly appointed a special counsel hours following the second leak was confirmed.
