Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Senate Chamber declares of National Interest «The Paraguayan University Games – JUPY 2024» to promote and encourage discipline, healthy competition and at the same time, encourage the comprehensive development of university sports life.
This event, which will bring together more than 10,000 young people from 55 public and private universities in the country, will take place from July 19 to November 21 of this year. In this regard, socialization and guidance are carried out in various departments of the country.
Likewise, the Senate, in its Declaration No. 157 of its extraordinary session this Wednesday, July 10, urges the National Secretariat of Sports, the National Secretariat of Youth and the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies, in their capacity as organizers, to promote and disseminate the university sports competition.
The 2024 edition of the Paraguay University Games (JUPY) It is part of the Sumar Plan and was officially presented by the Government of Paraguay, through the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies, the National Secretariat of Sports and the National Secretariat of Youth.
The Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MITIC) contributed to the creation of the logo for the event.
The Paraguay 2024 University Games promise to be a memorable event that will inspire thousands of young people through sport and recreation.
