Recently, the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee decided it was high time to kick off a subcommittee dedicated to investigating the infamous drug war. So, Senator Pimentel is now the chosen one to lead this probe. It’s like the grand finale of a reality show, but instead of roses, they’re handing out subpoenas. Let’s hope his first order of business involves a hearty dose of common sense, because usually that’s about as rare as a calm day on Twitter.
Now, as the Senate picks up its tools to probe deeper into the drug war, I must say, if they were looking for enthusiasm, they shouldn’t have called a Senate committee. I mean, the last time I saw that many long faces was in a funeral home. Hopefully, the investigation will uncover some juicy secrets and not just bring back flashbacks of boring lectures.
