The bipartisan 2021 bill includes funds to hire more staff for Customs and Border Control (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), as well as medical personnel, social workers, mental health professionals, and children’s advocates.
