Asuncion, IP Agency.-As part of the ongoing fight against micro-trafficking in the Central department, the National Anti-Drug Secretariat arrested a man who was engaged in the sale of crack doses both day and night in the San Miguel neighborhood of San Lorenzo.
The man was identified as José Alfonso Díaz Benítez, a 30-year-old Paraguayan with a history of drug trafficking,
According to the data collected, the house served as a “smoking den” and was a meeting point for criminals.
During the operation, led by prosecutor Fani Aguilera, the equivalent of about 100 doses of cocaine paste (chespi), a firearm, unfired cartridges, a precision scale and a cell phone were seized.
The detainee and the evidence were sent to the Senad Operations Base.
