Self-driving Buses for Pilgrims: Al-Marsad Newspaper Reports on New Transportation Technology in Saudi Arabia

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The official spokesman for transportation, Saleh Al-Zuwaidi, confirmed that the authority has launched self-driving buses that travel at a speed of 30 km per hour to serve pilgrims, as they can carry 11 passengers, who can travel with them from the holy sites.

He expressed his admiration for these buses and their quality, especially as they transport pilgrims from Arafat to Muzdalifah on 6 tracks and a distance of 4 kilometres.

He said that one of the main roles of the authority is to adopt modern transport technologies and contribute to their activation and application in various regions of the Kingdom

And he continued: Our goal is to provide all means of comfort and services to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God. This bus is provided for the first time to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God.
