Professionals who wanted to explore the 2023 edition of the Pharmapack show through the prism of innovation had the possibility thanks to the “Innovation tours” organized on site, in particular in partnership with the Polymeris competitiveness cluster. The latter thus proposed two visits on February 1 to present various innovative medical devices.

Self-injection devices were particularly represented there. The increasing use of therapeutic proteins administered subcutaneously has indeed increased the use of the latter, self-medication facilitating the daily life of many people with chronic diseases while deducting the burden on the health system.
