the speedrunner Mitchriz thus challenged himself to finish Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice as quickly as possible, which he managed to do with a time of 2 hours 35 seconds.
While the feat is already impressive on its own, it’s how he accomplished the thing that’s most remarkable. The player successfully completed FromSoftware’s game while blindfolded, no less!
With only his memory and his ears as tools, Mitchriz managed to remember the construction of levels and the location of items and enemies. Additionally, due to certain auditory cues, he was able to beat every boss in the game, sometimes without taking any damage.

GDQ breaks a new record
Spectators were once once more on board with generous donations totaling US$3,423,507.85 to the Prevent Cancer Foundation, setting a new record for Games Done Quick.
From January 9 to 16, several speedrunners famous and aspiring took turns parading live on GDQ’s Twitch channel and completed over a hundred games. All these video game exploits can be found in catch-up on the organization’s YouTube channel.
GDQ has not yet confirmed its next appointment, the Summer Games Done Quick, which takes place between June and August, but it will certainly be an event not to be missed for fans of speedruns crazier than each other.
