Put on your sneakers! The Seine-Eure Marathon returns this Sunday, October 15! Whether you are runners, volunteers or simple spectators, come to our finish line located on avenue des Falaises, in front of the town hall, to welcome the runners in style!

Don’t wait any longer, join the 2,500 runners for the 18th edition of the traditional fall event! Organized by the Marathon Sport Evénement association, in partnership with VRAC and the Louviers athletics club, each year it brings together hundreds of runners from all walks of life to compete in an “ultra-flat” marathon. In addition to the traditional 42.195km marathon and the EKIDEN (the team race), a new event has been added to the program; The Semi-Marathon is 21.09 km open to competitors born in 2005 or before. It will leave Vaudreuil at 9:00 a.m. and will resume the marathon course after 1km! Come and applaud these women and men, including our Mayor, Marc-Antoine Jamet, who never misses an edition of the Seine-Eure marathon and will run for Val-de-Reuil!

Like every year, the City does everything it can to offer you an incredible arrival! At the arrival village, you can attend concerts, activities and enjoy a snack with the many food trucks present to provide you with something to eat! Thousands of spectators will be present to encourage the athletes until the last effort, a unique atmosphere, an event not to be missed!

Twinnings celebrating!

Not one or two, but 39 friends from our twin towns will come to spend an exceptional weekend in Val-de-Reuil! Coming from Sztum in Poland, Danthiady in Senegal, Workington in England and Ritterhude in Germany, our adopted Rolivalois will benefit from a unique and festive program concocted by the municipality and the Twinning committee. Some of them will run the Marathon alone or in teams while the others, including the mayor of Ritterhude and Sztum, will gather to encourage and applaud them. One thing is certain: in Val-de-Reuil, in addition to an extraordinary sporting event, the marathon is one of friendship between people!
