Sega postpones PS5 release of Football Manager 2023

Sega has delayed the release of the PlayStation 5 version of Football Manager 2023, a soccer simulation game, as reported by the American game media Video Game Chronicle on the 2nd (local time).

The reason for the delay in release is that a bug that was not discovered during the inspection process was discovered.

Sega will cancel pre-orders through the PlayStation Store and refund buyers.

“The decision to delay the release was difficult,” said Miles Jacobson, studio director of developer Sports Interactive. “We will do our best to bring this game to PlayStation 5 users as soon as possible.”

In addition to the PlayStation 5, PC, Mac, Xbox and mobile versions will be released on the 8th as previously planned.
