From hits to cabaret to catch wrestling: SEEYou 2024 offers a wide variety of events. Particularly noteworthy in the SEEYou event calendar is the Catch Wrestling World Championship, open air for the first time. The Austrian wrestler Chris Raaber, better known as “Bambikiller”, is coming to Neumarkt.
“We have always said that SEEYou stands for art and culture, but it is also a series of events. That’s why I came up with this because, where we are, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to bring relevant music acts here. This gave birth to the idea that we should position ourselves more broadly. Catch wrestling as such does not exist anywhere in our area and so far not as an open air event,” says Gerlinde Aigner, ÖVP deputy mayor, cultural advisor and organizer of SEEyou, explaining the idea.
But Aigner also offers a colorful program for all SEEYou fans who are not enthusiastic regarding catch wrestling. The band “Spider Murphy Gang” provides rock’n roll on the lake stage, while Konstantin Wecker presents the “Songs of my Life”. In August, the hearts of hit fans will beat faster: Simone and Charly Brunner, Natalie Holzner, Rosanna Rocci, Musik-Apostel and Von Gründorf can be seen on one stage. Visitors can laugh together in November when Omar Sarsam performs with his program “Special Class”.
Mayor Otto Jäger (ÖVP) and Deputy Mayor Gerlinde Aigner (ÖVP) are looking forward to the coming year.
