Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was the first to react to leaving the Manchester United club. The player left the club last November following a controversial interview in which he criticized the club and coach Ten Haag.
Cristiano is coming to Al-Nasr Club, who are the giants of the Saudi League, for a record amount. He left the club on mutual understanding. The actor responded that he now feels that he is a good man.
‘As I said, I went through a bad phase in my career (leaving Manchester United), maybe for the first time. It was part of my upbringing. “Now I’m more prepared, it’s a great experience, I feel like I’m a good person,” Cristiano said.

Cristiano’s return to his former club was not a smooth one. The player will return to Manchester United in 2021 from Juventus. He scored 24 goals in 39 matches for the club during the season. The club finished sixth in the Premier League. Cristiano also said that the Saudi Pro League will become one of the best leagues in world football.
The Saudi League is not like the English Premier League, but things here surprise me. The player added that if things progress the way they want, Saudi Arabia will become the fifth or sixth league in the world to host the best football tournaments. He was speaking to journalists ahead of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
