Seebahnhof bathing facility is also included in the course of renaturation

With a view towards summer, the NEOS proposal to also take the other desolate shore side of the bay into account in the course of renaturation now ensures more safety and bathing fun in Gmunden. “Our suggestion for improvement was unanimously approved by the city council,” says a delighted NEOS Nature and Environment Councilor Philipp Wiatschka.

Desolate stairs are renovated
For him it is important to think bigger, more holistically and beyond the individual measures. “From our point of view, it was important to take into account the desolate bank side and the broken and dangerous stairway into the cool water in the course of the renaturation and to take the appropriate measures here. It is not only important that the entire appearance of the bathing and leisure facility looks neat and clean in the future, but that the bathers can also enter the water safely and without injury!”, concluded the NEOS safety councilor.
