WhatsApp is about to receive a visual overhaul after years of few changes to its interface. The new version was found by the WABetaInfo portal, a portal dedicated to searching for new features in the Meta application.
The change was first noticed in WhatsApp Beta 2.23.13.16 released in July, when some elements began to change color, abandoning the application’s classic green.
Another change noticed is the messages, status and calls tabs, which have been moved to the bottom area of the screen with corresponding icons instead of just text. Archived messages can be accessed via the indicator at the top of the list.
According to WABetaInfo, the new look is currently only available to a small group of WhatsApp Beta users for Android, but should be released to more people in the coming weeks or months.
