**Interviewer:** Given that the operation also involved the killing of a wanted Khawarij leader, Saeed alias Qureshi Ustad, what does this mean for the leadership structure of terrorist organizations in the region?

**Dr. Khan:** The elimination of a key leader like Qureshi Ustad is a significant blow to these terrorist organizations. Leaders often play a crucial role in orchestrating attacks and recruitment. His removal may create a temporary vacuum in their ranks, potentially disrupting their operational capabilities. However, it’s essential to remember that these groups often have hierarchical structures, and new leaders can emerge. Continued operations like this are necessary to sustain pressure on these networks.

**Interviewer:** There have been reports of ongoing clearance operations in response to this intelligence. How important is it for these operations to be sustained?

**Dr. Khan:** Sustained operations are vital. The security landscape can shift rapidly, and if operations are not continuous, there is a risk that remnants of these groups could regroup and plan further attacks. Active engagement sends a message that security forces are vigilant and prepared to respond to any resurgence of terrorist activities. Continuous pressure can disrupt their planning and recruitment significantly.

**Interviewer:** Thank you, Dr. Khan, for your insights on this critical situation. It’s clear that ongoing vigilance is necessary in the fight against terrorism.

**Dr. Khan:** Thank you for having me. It’s crucial for all stakeholders, including communities and government agencies, to work together in this fight for a safer Pakistan.
