Since the early hours of Saturday morning, August 17, social media users reported the deployment of security forces in Greater Caracas.
Through the social network X, it was learned that officials from the Bolivarian National Guard and the National Police are present in the Sucre municipality of Miranda state.
GNB and PNB officials are present in “the area that covers from the Petare Redoma, La California, Campo Rico to Francisco de Miranda Avenue up to the vicinity of the Líder shopping center”

Meanwhile, crime reporter Eligio Rojas told Ultimas Noticias that according to preliminary reports, the deployment is being carried out by approximately 6,000 officials.
