Eduardo Viloria

DLA.-Last Thursday the 17th we announced the isolation of the residences of important housing developments in the town of Betijoque, including the Luis Mario Madriz, Los Semerucos and Héctor Mata urbanizations, to which communications were cut off. telephone and Internet services, a leafy tree that fell into the void located on the banks of the road that leads from the end of avenues 3 and 4 in Betijoque, to the aforementioned urbanizations.

Williams Escalona, a resident of the Luis Mario Madriz urbanization, did not call again, who said that the efforts they have made with the state telephone company have been useless, since apparently the company does not have enough cable to replace several meters of the network, to which they are waiting for the material to replace the damaged cable to arrive. The requested material is apparently in the city of Caracas, as stated by the community leader at the scene of the accident, which occurred last Monday, October 15.

Remains of trees also not removed from the sidewalks that go to the urbanizations.

Escalona said that the home phones do not ring, they are silenced as they have no communication, as well as the Internet service, adding to this that the businesses or businesses located in the affected urbanizations, among them, small local wineries, cannot carry out commercial transactions or discounts on debit cards, also affected by the technological failure caused by the tree, when it took away the communications cable of the Cantv telephone company.

We thank the Cantv people in the region for addressing this failure as soon as possible and restoring telephone and internet communications, which are necessary in this modern era, where many citizen and household tasks depend on them, Escalona said when saying goodbye.
