Secretary of the Dominican Abroad of the People’s Force recognizes 76 leaders

EL NUEVO DIARIO, SANTO DOMINGO.- The Secretary for Dominicans Abroad of the People’s Force, directed by Marcos Cross, in his permanent defense of the rights of Dominicans living overseas, recognized 76 of its most prominent leaders in the 3 constituencies established abroad.

In these constituencies, the JCE organizes Dominicans abroad to exercise their right to vote to elect the President and Vice President of the Republic, and following the promulgation of the 2010 Constitution, overseas deputies are also elected, indicates this Monday a press release.

In constituency 1 (United States and Canada), 30 members of Fuerza del Pueblo were recognized, highlighting leaders from almost all North American states, including: New York, New Jersey, Masechusses, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Connecticut .
In constituency 2 (Puerto Rico, Florida, Central and South America) 7 members from Florida, Puerto Rico, Panama were awarded. and French Guyana.

In constituency 3 (Europe) the recognized are 39 members from Spain (Madrid, Barcelona), Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands, it was detailed.

This recognition activity is carried out in commemoration of the Day of the Dominican Abroad, instituted by Law 187-01 that establishes December 20 of each year, as the day of those who live outside the Dominican territory, also recognizing the work of the comrades who have dedicated themselves body and soul to the formation of an organization whose goal is the transformation of Dominican society, with the aim of creating a Republic that lives with the social welfare established by the Magna Carta.

The award ceremony was headed by the vice president and political coordinator of the FP, Radhamés Jiménez Peña, the Secretary General, Antonio Florián, and the head of the Secretary for Dominicans Abroad, Marcos Cross.
