Washington: The 32-page affidavit of the FBI said that it found highly confidential documents from the Florida estate of former US President Donald Trump.
Trump’s illegal possession of top-secret government documents and the failure to release them to officials despite months of requests could lead to new legal action against Trump. This problem has arisen for Trump while he is trying to compete in the 2024 presidential election.
The affidavit does not provide new details about the 11 sets of classified records found during the Aug. 8 search at Mar-a-Lago, but instead refers to a separate batch of 15 boxes from January.
