The leak of secret American documents concerning the war in Ukraine continues to make people talk. The Washington Post revealed on Monday new information contained in the files, which as a reminder were obtained and disseminated on social networks by a 21-year-old American military employee (recruit of the Air National Guard), Jack Teixeira.

Twenty-something, video game lover: the “Washington Post” says it has identified the individual behind the leaks of secret American documents

Our American colleagues affirm, on the basis of confidential documents, that the United States prevented Ukraine from attacking Russia on February 24th. The head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, is said to have given the order to “massively strike” Russian territory on that day, the anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine by Putin’s troops. “We will attack with whatever we have in store,” reads the NSA report that leaked online, reports the Washington Post. Moscow was in the sights of Kyrylo Boudanov, as well as the port city of Novorossiysk, located in the south-west of Russia, on the edge of the Black Sea.

However, US intelligence was concerned and deemed these massive attacks dangerous to global security. They obviously feared that Vladimir Putin would respond with nuclear weapons, a weapon he has been threatening to use since the start of the conflict. The United States therefore pressured Ukraine not to put its plan into action. A request that has been listened to, according to information collected by the Washington Post.

Two days before the planned offensive, the CIA writes in its confidential report that “the Ukrainian intelligence service agreed, at Washington’s cordial request, to postpone the attack on Moscow”.
