Second victory in the South American Women’s Basketball Championship

With a final score of 62-54, Colombia defeated Paraguay in the second match of the first phase of the South American Women’s Basketball Championship.

The technical talk by coach Luis Cuenca allowed the Colombian team’s attitude to change and in the third quarter, after a comeback by Paraguay, they managed to increase the difference, thanks to Daniela González’s goals, to 51-42.

The Paisa was the key in the closing and leaving statistics of 15 points, five rebounds, nine assists and three steals.

In the end, the score was 62-54 in favor of our team and gave them the ticket to the next round.

In addition to Manuela, another standout in the match was Jenifer Muñoz with 14 points, three defensive rebounds, four assists and an efficiency of 16.
