Second Test against Bangladesh shifted from Karachi to Rawalpindi

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the second Test match of Pakistan Bangladesh series in relation to Champions Trophy 2025. Karachi I have decided to shift the schedule to Rawalpindi.

Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had decided to hold the second Test match without spectators, which was severely criticized by former cricketers.

According to PCB, this decision has been taken after consultation with the Bangladesh Cricket Board. The match will now be played from August 30 to September 3 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The ongoing construction work for the ICC Champions Trophy at the National Bank Stadium Karachi has been cited as the reason behind this decision. This step has been taken keeping in mind the complete preparation of the stadium for Champions Trophy 2025.
