Four-party negotiations between Ukraine, Russia, the United Nations and Turkey (Turkey) to export Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea were finally concluded on the 22nd (local time).
According to Archyde.com, AFP, and TASS news agency, the delegation participating in the negotiations signed the UN-proposed negotiation for grain export via the Black Sea in Istanbul, Turkey.
This will allow Ukrainian grains to resume export to world markets via the Black Sea route.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said:
Ukraine is one of the world’s largest wheat producers, but following the Russian invasion, export routes through the Black Sea were blocked, resulting in a global food shortage.
Accordingly, on the 14th, Ukraine, Russia, the United Nations, and Turkiye held a four-party negotiation in Istanbul and agreed on the principle of joint control over grain import and export ports along with the establishment of the Security Coordination Center for the Black Sea Route.
