The second edition of the performing arts careers forum will be held on Thursday, November 30 at the Cité des Métiers in Saint-Pierre, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will offer more than 400 middle and high school students the opportunity to explore the different facets of performing arts professions by meeting several professionals from the artistic, technical, production and cultural mediation fields.
This major event will offer more than 400 middle and high school students the opportunity to explore the different facets of the performing arts professions by meeting more than 20 professionals from the artistic, technical, administrative and communication, production, cultural mediation. New this year: the Antoine Roussin high school in Saint-Louis will present one of the artistic options (theater) available in the Academy establishments.
The objective of this initiative is to make young Reunion Islanders aware of the richness of the performing arts sector and to help them consider new career prospects that are often unknown. This day constitutes a unique opportunity for students to discover the diversity of professions linked to performing arts and to understand the essential role they play in the culture and dynamism of the Reunion region.
The Live Show Professions Forum is also part of a broader approach to supporting the sector, by promoting its sustainability and development, taking into account current issues such as environmental, ethical and technological transitions.
