This Thursday on the Platform program, the economist, Rafael Lemus, assured that the final scrutiny of the last elections for deputies of the Legislative Assembly was a disaster, in addition, he highlighted that journalists were prohibited from entering and taking videos of the process.

“The Supreme Electoral Court did not admit the appeals for annulment of the legislative elections, these are the final results, in the next elections there are changes where the municipalities will now be districts, done to favor Nuevas Ideas,” he said.

On another topic, the economist assured that Nayib Bukele’s government has made progress in construction issues such as the Gerardo Barrios peripheral, the Rosales Hospital and the Nejapa Hospital, but that, despite this, extreme poverty has grown in El Salvador 10%, reaching a total of 30%.

“The economy will grow slowly and will decelerate, which will generate less job creation. Salvadorans have lost 25% of their food income,” he added.

Finally, Lemus stressed that the Government has a fiscal disorder and continues with unsustainable growing debt cataloged by the IMF, “the government has remained under different loans, the proof is the debt of 49 million dollars to the University of El Salvador that “He mightn’t pay.”
