Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) officers on the second day also conducted searches in a number of places, not only the office of the Mayor of Semarang, Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu, but a number of private companies were also targeted.

.The target of the KPK officers, who numbered around 10 people, came to the Ruko Building owned by PT. Chimarder 777, which is owned by a private company, at least 3 companies occupy it, namely PT Bintang Rama Perdana, PT Chiko Karya Pratama, and PT Rama Sukses Mandiri.

Someone inside the building stated that there was an inspection by the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) being carried out on the second and third floors of the building.

“Yesterday followingnoon, it was also around 12.00 WIB. Yesterday, there were three cars with Innova. Not (wearing KPK uniforms), batik,” he said.

For your information, the KPK is currently investigating alleged corruption cases in the Semarang City Government. There are four people who have currently been prevented from traveling abroad. Meanwhile, the Mayor of Semarang, Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu (Ita) is still unknown.

“The KPK has issued a decree on the prohibition of traveling abroad for and on behalf of 4 people, namely two people from state administrators and two others from the private sector,” said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika.

Today is the second day of the search. On Wednesday (17/7) yesterday, the KPK was in several places starting from the Mayor’s Office, the Procurement of Goods and Services (BPBJ), to the Mayor’s private home. While today there are several other offices in the city hall that were searched.

KPK investigators were seen entering the Social Service building first and also entering the Semarang City Regional Planning and Development Agency (Bappeda) building on the 7th floor of the Moh Ihsan building. After that, investigators also entered the Semarang City Communication and Information building.

Officials were also questioned on the 8th floor of the Moh Ihsan Building in the Semarang City Hall complex. Until this news was written, the search process by KPK investigators at Semarang City Hall was ongoing. (HT/Z-7)
