“Welcome to the world, little one,” wrote the Swede Frida Hansdotter via Instagram in her sweet post. In one photo you can see the hands of the parents and the big brother as well as the feet of the little girl.

Hansdotter and her partner Richard Jansson, a former ice hockey professional, became parents to a son in December 2020. In terms of sport, the now 38-year-old celebrated her greatest success with the gold medal in the slalom at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. She also won two silver and three bronze medals at world championships and the small slalom crystal ball. In March 2019 she hung up her skis and is now clearly enjoying her family life.

There were numerous congratulations from the world of skiing on the baby’s happiness: “Congratulations, Frida,” commented Anna Veith, who is also expecting her second child, on her former companion’s posting. Marlies Raich and Eva-Maria Brem are also happy with Hansdotter. There’s a heart emoji from Felix Neureuther.
