Apple is releasing the second beta of iOS 18.1 tonight for those lucky enough to have an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max, as well as iPadOS 18.1 for those with an iPad equipped with an Apple M1 chip or better. This new version comes out exactly two weeks after the first beta, which was also the first to feature a piece of Apple Intelligence… at least for those who are not in Europe. If that’s you or if you have a different iPhone, this version is not for you.

While Apple Intelligence is the biggest piece of iOS 18.1, it’s not the only new feature to expect. As a reminder, the release of artificial intelligence features in Europe has been postponed by Apple, officially due to the DMA, and we’ll have to wait until 2025 to test them.

On the other hand, you may be able to install the sixth beta of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15, visionOS 2, watchOS 11 and all the others! It’s a (small) surprise, the fifth was released last week and we weren’t expecting this version before next week, even if Apple tends to speed up the pace at this time. We don’t know yet what it contains and we’re mainly expecting fixes, but count on us to give you an update in the evening if there’s something more interesting to get our teeth into, of course.
