HERMOSILLO, Son.- Personnel from the Institute of Scholarships and Educational Credit work in the equitable distribution of the support that will be given to all students in the state with the 400 million pesos that were reduced to the state Congress, said the Secretary of Education, Aaron Grajeda Bustamante.

He pointed out that the suitability criteria are being established going first with the most unprotected and from there to the rest of the students to grant these resources that might range from 2 thousand 500 to 2 thousand 700 pesos.

“It is very social, the guidelines have been concluded and we are very pleased that we have clarity on the resources and the order of priority for allocation, always starting with those who have the least”he exposed.

Today, he stressed, there is no educational segment without access to scholarships by the federal government and the state administration.

“There are 400 million each year and we are very flattered to be able to say that we are living in a government in which we can all have access to scholarships (and) that is an incentive for the population”he pointed.

The head of the SEC stated that the amount of the scholarships to be delivered varies according to the level of vulnerability of the student; the more vulnerable the student, the more scholarship they have.

It is taken into account, he pointed out, also if they are students from rural regionsif they have a disability and if they have a family with support.
