Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares met on Monday 13 February with local officials from Sebta et Meliliafollowing the Morocco-Spain high-level meeting, indicates the Spanish Ministry of AE.

The three parties discussed the progress of the process of gradual and orderly opening of commercial customs in Sebta and Melilia and the continuation of tests in anticipation of their reopening, in accordance with what was agreed between Morocco and Spain, specifies the same source.

Emphasis was also placed on the need toprevent the resumption of smugglingfollowing this effective reopening of commercial customs.
