Sebastian Vettel thanked Arai for many years with his helmet at the Japanese Grand Prix, the final F1 race at Suzuka Circuit.
Sebastian Vettel, who is retiring from F1 this year, has been using Arai helmets since he started karting in 1995 at the age of eight. The message “Thank you Arai” was written on the back of the helmet used in the F1 Japan GP. The overall design represents the box in which the helmet is delivered, with the flag acting as packing tape.
Sebastian Vettel says he misses running in Formula 1 only at Suzuka Circuit.
“I’m happy to come to Suzuka following a long absence and I’m really looking forward to it as it will be my last Suzuka,” said Vettel.
“I was fine at other circuits, but when I come to Suzuka I feel a little lonely.
