Sebastian Fabijański had serious mental health problems
Sebastian Fabijański (37) is perfectly aware of how little it takes to get from the top to the bottom. A few years ago, the actor was really loud. However, not because of new roles, but private scandals. He even decided to fight in FAME MMA, but he did not stay in the ring for too long.
In 2021, on the program “Duży w malluu” he spoke honestly for the first time about mental health problems. He admitted then that he even considered taking his own life.I had different moments. I was standing on the crossing and I was in a very, very bad condition. I wanted to cross to the other side, cars were going very fast. I had the thought that I would probably go in” – recalled Fabijański.
The star of Patryk Vega’s films also touched on the subject of his complicated relationship with his father, who abused alcohol. Despite his troubled childhood, Fabijański was deeply affected by the death of his father, who passed away in August 2018. The actor found himself on an equally slippery slope. In his last conversation with Żurnalist, he admitted that it was then that his “a self-destructive flight that was heading towards collapse“.

Sebastian Fabijański talked about his stay in a psychiatric hospital
A year and a half after losing his father, he decided to undergo treatment in a psychiatric hospital. There he was diagnosed with severe anxiety disorders with depression. “After my father died, I ended up in a psychiatric hospital. I was in the hospital for three months. It was my decision. I was no longer able to leave the house. I was already in such a state that I was afraid of my own shadow.a” – he confessed in the program “Big in a toddler”.
Now Sebastian Fabijański has once again decided to settle accounts with the past. In a conversation with Żurnalist, he recalled the darkest period of his life. For the first time, he revealed details of his hospital stay. He described the beginning of his stay as a nightmare. As soon as he entered the private facility, he immediately wanted to get out.
“Stupid thoughts started to come to my mind. I was afraid to take medication, I didn’t know what would happen to me. (…) That’s when I decided to go to the hospital. I was in a private hospital, luckily I had money to be treated like that. I had a nice room. But the beginning was a nightmare. There were no door handles. When I got to the hospital, I wanted to leave immediately. They were taking my phone cables. I told them I didn’t want to kill myself, that I was leaving. Finally they gave me a pill. And suddenly I was fine. But waking up was hard.” – this is how he summed up his stay in the hospital.
Currently, it seems that Fabijański is starting to get back on track. He takes care of his mental health and relationships with his loved ones. He wants to be a good and supportive father to his only child. Bastek is the fruit of the actor’s relationship with influencer Julia Kuczyńska.
