When does Season 2 end?

Diablo 4 Season 2 was originally scheduled to begin on October 17 at 7 p.m. sharp, but was delayed due to server issues. However, players will have three months, or approximately 100 days, to enjoy the Season of Blood, which should end around mid-January 2024 (date to be confirmed later).

Getting off to a good start on Season 2

Before diving into Season 2, it’s essential to familiarize yourself with the 1.2.0 patch notes that accompany the season’s launch. These notes contain information about new features, class improvements, and experience gains. Additionally, to save time, log in with your most advanced character to transfer their progress to your account.

Choosing your new character’s class is another crucial step. Some builds have been improved, while others are less efficient. It is therefore advisable to do some research before making your choice.

Harvest of Blood and Vampiric Powers: the events of Season 2

Season 2 introduces exclusive seasonal quests tied to the season’s theme of Vampiric Powers and Harvests of Blood. To participate, it is recommended to complete the campaign with your seasonal character.

Once you reach level 50, you’ll want to take on a high-level build. You can choose from a large collection of builds, although some are still being updated due to the recent patch arrival.

What to do during the Season 2 endgame?

In the end game content, you will need to again farm Nightmare Dungeons to increase the level of your Glyphs and gain experience. Additionally, you can participate in summoning five fearsome Uber bosses, which offer a chance to obtain unique, or even Uber unique, items.

Season 2 Journey and Battle Pass

The Journey and Battle Pass are two features that return every season. The Journey serves as a progression table and is made up of seven chapters of increasing difficultye. Each chapter has a certain number of objectives to complete, but you can ignore some of them. Rewards include special items and Skins, as well as a Scroll of Amnesia that resets all of a character’s Paragon and Talent points.

The Battle Pass is divided into two sections: one free and one premium. The free section offers various power boosts and some cosmetics, while the premium section offers Platinum (the premium currency) and cosmetics only. If you own a Deluxe or Ultimate version of Diablo 4, you can choose to use the Premium Battle Pass in a future season.
